Who is even talking about stairs here?

I don’t believe Winnetou wants to have his house placed on a mound now. That would only push the planned budget upwards, as well as cause an expensive platform that is not accounted for, right, winnetou? [emoji851][emoji6] (a little insider for someone who can’t imagine that unexpected costs might arise)

I would take a very close look at their reasoning.
Here, everyone has their bungalows built about 50cm higher, but that was due to the overly cautious construction supervisor.

We ourselves have a step of about 12/15cm, which should be sufficient.

Nice insider, And the costs are basically irrelevant to me here, the 150sqm with 30 cm fill costs me 850 euros, so 25 cm more doesn’t matter. The question is only whether it has to be, as written the building permit is for the current height, and the rest is just a recommendation. But again for understanding, the entire plot will be lower than the street by 17 cm, and the finished floor level is then about 35 cm higher than this plot level, so to speak you then have a kind of basin between the house and the street in the area of the house.

@ Yvonne how high is the difference between the street and the top edge of the finished floor at your place? Also just 15 cm?

I quickly looked at our house-building blog photo. The estimated 15cm pedestal is about 7cm... also we have a slope towards the street of estimated 5cm... you can check yourself: the lower edge of the picture is also the front property boundary (curb is in the "water"). So we are about 12 cm higher than the street... but we still have a drainage buffer due to the gravel driveway and house surroundings. I would probably want the house to be higher than the street anyway. Didn't you discuss this on site with the construction manager? Mobile greetings on the go

The house is 17cm higher than the street,
the site manager doesn't care, the height is approved.
For me, it is also okay like this.
Only my wife is scared by the note in the [Baugenehmigung].

Phew, I read it wrong. You're actually adding a storey to the house! But that ditch around your property needs to be filled, otherwise you've really built a water castle.
