Budget?
The house costs over 500,000 in Austria, actually more than 600,000 + additional construction costs + outdoor facilities

Utility room is missing
Building services are missing
Very important, a staircase is missing
Room dimensions are missing

Attached garage means more insulation effort

Parents’ and children’s bathroom get the nice south side and one child gets the north side
Bathrooms drain through the dining room, not practical

Be sure to draw in the correct furniture to scale

I don’t understand the heating system.
You want to heat only with electricity without a heat pump?
Really only with infrared?
Don’t forget, if you need electricity, your photovoltaic system won’t supply it

Dining area is once again acoustically accompanied by the symphony of farts, splashes, and flushing noises from the guest toilet ...

A lot doesn't fit together and the concept doesn't make any sense at all. Based on the dimensions, that's easily 300-400 m², plus a very complicated architecture - that's more like 1,000,000 than 500,000.

But as you say, you are still at the very beginning, so a lot of reality will surely set in.

Hello everyone

thanks for the many responses.

Attached are a few sketches with dimensions. Without a basement, this should be about 170m² here.
The upper floor protrudes a bit. That is the maximum I am legally allowed by the building distance regulations. The overhang will then be adjusted to the technically possible. As far as I could find out on the internet, one of the advantages of steel construction is that such constructions can be implemented more easily. If necessary, a support column would also be possible.

The budget is currently at 320T€ with up to 380T€ possible. However, the goal should be to need less instead of more.

The desire to have an affordable heating model for 20 years and to be able to heat the rooms differently according to demand.

We now have infrared on the ceiling in the bedroom. The temperature in the room is about 2-3°C lower than in the usual rooms, but due to the infrared radiation, it feels a bit warmer than in the other rooms.

Power – we will be advised by the dealer on this. The efficiency is more or less -> heating output = electrical power.

An electrical ceiling connection with the corresponding fuse per room. Everything is then installed by ourselves. Costs for a single-family house with 180m² are about 8000-10000€ according to the dealer. No maintenance, only electricity to operate.

Laundry is done in the bathroom

I already thought that. Maybe there are experiences in that area. The attenuation of the steel cage is of course enormous then.
