honest answer? - you will only move into your own house in the next life. There is NO single recommended manufacturer and NONE without problems. The more often you hear in advance "no problem at all," the more cautious you should be. Forget Excel sheets with which you want to compare and evaluate providers. That never works – follow your gut feeling. For professional matters such as evaluating the construction and service descriptions and possibly later construction supervision, get experts. It costs extra but can save you a lot of money and trouble. As laypeople, you will despair over the general terms and conditions, the most important points here being the payment terms and the house rules during the construction phase. The basic rule is: pay only for construction progress that has been properly completed. And don’t let them take away your house rights during the construction phase; you AND the persons you commission must always have the right of access. It is very common for this to be prohibited. As you can see, the devil is in the details. But don’t panic, building is actually quite simple – you just must not make it so difficult for yourself :-)
