Knee wall minus screed plus rafter support (is that what it's called?)... about 10 cm less in total than the shell construction dimension.

I agree with Jaydee’s opinions - above all, the table-to-table thing would bother me, also visually.
The room can handle a nice island, whether for cooking, as a counter, or for working.
Our freezer room also has a technical corner solution - without a door or wall. Next to it fit the beverage crates and the trash. A second door would only block me there.

Hello,

This is generally not correct. It crucially depends on "how" the municipality/city wants the knee wall to be understood.

If the intersection of the roof covering is meant, you are right – if the outer, visible part is meant as the knee wall dimension, the internal finished knee wall dimension even increases by the angle of the base purlin resting on the gable sill, minus drywall work and plaster.

Rhineland regards

For us, it had nothing to do with the municipality. Our BU planned a knee wall of 1.80 m, but it was only 1.80 m in the shell construction. For our BU it was clear that this was a shell construction measurement, for us it was not. That was a classic case of talking past each other. I just wanted to make it clear to the TE that his 1.65 m is not the 1.65 m he thinks it is in terms of the "spatial feeling".

Hey,

thank you very much for the lots of feedback, I'm happy about that.

The kitchen is already planned with a cooking island, we don't want the table there either, a large dining table where everything takes place is enough for us, unfortunately it is incorrectly marked on the floor plan.

We want to use the dressing room upstairs as part of the bedroom, integrated with a sliding door. We both work in shifts and find it great (same solution so far in the apartment) that it is separated ... so it can't be done otherwise. In the storage room upstairs we will accommodate the washing machine and dryer, I picked up this idea here in the forum!

Regarding the technical room we will think about it, I think you are right and I will save the cost for the door

Unfortunately the stairs to the upper floor cannot be positioned differently, we do not find it optimal either but we can live with it. On the other hand, we find the hallway upstairs very nice, a little different.

Do you have any idea regarding the bathroom upstairs? It should be big enough, right? Could something be arranged differently there? Other ideas

Looking forward to your suggestions!!!

According to the house builder, the measurement from the top edge of the finished floor will be about 3-4 cm less than the 165 cm... we are curious
