Whereby: The subsidies also have to be financed. Capital investment.
You have to pay for it anyway if you build like that.
If you then end up with a black (or red) zero: Brilliant.
The rest is currently - as of 2016 - a question of willingness, the green thumb, enjoyment of the matter, and the ability to have access to appropriate funds.
Because honestly: zero interest rates or not, the additional costs are hardly offset in such a way that enthusiasm arises in monetary terms.
You can do nice calculations, but that is and remains just nice calculations.
Whoever builds KFW40 or 40+ derives their enthusiasm from somewhere else then.
I think that’s good - whoever can and wants to: Go for it. An (almost) self-sufficient house is a strong, brilliant thing that would also bring me joy.
The energy saving ordinance is constantly being tightened anyway. I think by 2025 the area KFW40+ or even stricter will be standard anyway....
