Why bother going to the manufacturer at all? Why not just choose a manufacturer that offers it? I’m not trying to advertise here, but for example, I am very impressed with my Zehnder Q350. The ventilation installer installed it for the first time at our place and hasn't wanted anything else since. He said it is really a great device.

We paid 10,000 EUR for just under 165 sqm. Without enthalpy. However, that could still be replaced by yourself now and costs around 800 EUR. It is a Brink system, Renovent Sky. A colleague of mine installed a Pluggit system. They are very satisfied but were already annoyed back then because beautiful ventilation grille covers easily cost 500 EUR.

We have a controlled residential ventilation system from PLUGGIT and are very satisfied. We do not need enthalpy at all. We consistently have a humidity level between 50-60%. I cannot say anything about the costs because we built the system ourselves.

Then I would say that the system is incorrectly set or you have other things to achieve such a high humidity (botanical garden, humidifier, washhouse...) :'D..
Otherwise, it's simply not physically possible.

Thank you very much for all the assessments! The high price for the "enthalpy exchanger" was due to the fact that it was actually the humidifier from Pluggit. I spoke with the general contractor this morning and mentioned Zehnder. He himself found the price high; we agreed to inquire with other suppliers. He wants to make the offers transparent to me; then the general contractor surcharge will be added. But that is okay.

Hoihoi,
we also plan to install the system ourselves.
Do you perhaps still have the procedure?
So the pipes should then disappear in the screed...?
