December to March > 50% for us. So more than half of the consumption is produced, stored, and consumed by ourselves. Since April, we have not purchased any electricity.

Interesting, how large is your system, with what orientation, and where does the [Anlage] live?

7.25 kWp with a 7.7 kW storage. Heating with an air-water heat pump. The system is located on a house roof, 38° with full south orientation at almost 1000m above sea level in Baden-Württemberg.

Wow, first of all, thank you very much for the many responses. It is really very helpful here. It is really a shame that there are so many truths. Since I am not very keen on optimizing the heating, my good gut feeling about the gas boiler is actually confirmed. Regarding the water tank: what dimensions are recommended for a 3-person household? I've also heard various statements here...

What are the costs for such a system? Can you manage with €20,000?

The south has it better for solar.

You have good conditions for your photovoltaic.
