Dressing room is nonsense.. I would definitely do without it. No - 13m² is fine (if the sloping ceilings are not too severe) - was just an idea. I really don't believe that the balcony will be used... you have a garden outside - there is also no sauna in the bathroom that you could stand on it or something like that. I would keep the storage thing on the upper floor... otherwise you always have to carry vacuum cleaners and similar.

I would keep the walk-in closet. If the wall were gone, you couldn't place a bigger wardrobe either. At least this way you have the option to put a dresser and a TV on the bed side (if you want) and you don't always look at such a wardrobe monster.

By the way, our walk-in closet will only be 90 cm deep and will be more like a walk-in wardrobe, yet we still have more space for clothes than with just a regular wardrobe wall.

I would also leave the upstairs hallway as it is. The children's rooms are sufficient and they still have the hallway to play in.

Hmm, for the reasons mentioned by Manu, we would like to keep the dressing room. We don’t have a TV in the bedroom yet, but it’s good to leave such an option open. And I think it’s nice when the wardrobe is hidden. The 1.50m is also a bit small for us with the dressing room; you can’t put a wardrobe on both sides.. however, we can’t think of how to change or enlarge it...

The bedroom is 10.6 m² ... that looks very cramped if you put a chest at the head side. But okay. Also, the 90 cm maneuvering width in front of the wardrobes is not that great and by the way... if you want a proper door there, you can't put any wardrobes behind it anymore (currently only 40 cm units are drawn there) - the frame also has a certain width.

The chest is probably just an example from the architect
Okay, we will reconsider how we handle the changing room...

Something else, are the floor-to-ceiling windows on the upper floor, i.e., one per room, sufficient for the brightness of the rooms?

I think the wide dado window lets more light into the room because more light is spread horizontally. In addition, the dado provides a suggestive protection. Mathematically, the window areas should be sufficient.

Best regards, Yvonne
