Don't rejoice too quickly. Long grass is by no means a good lawn. Keyword Blaukorn. That stuff grows like crazy, but tall and sparse. That is not sustainable.

Give him the universal lawn fertilizer from the Agro-shop punkt d e. It is supplemented with other important minerals besides N, and is therefore more sustainable than pure Blaukorn. It also works more gradually. Not quite so sudden, but longer lasting. Our lawn is very well nourished with it, and a good soil life with worms and such has developed. I also mow with a mulching mower, which always fertilizes a bit as well. K.

When I see the results here, how weed-infested lawn can still thrive so beautifully with some effort using hand tools, equipment, and chemicals, I currently ask myself: Is it even worth sifting 50 m³ of "weed-infested" topsoil excavation, or should I simply take active measures against emerging weeds if something starts to grow? That seems to me to be the better way at the moment...
