New planting area with an extreme amount of weeds. What’s next?

Roughly pull out the big weeds, then apply Compo weed killer on it and afterwards fertilize if you haven't done so yet. For the future, mow at least once a week to get the grass turf dense. Unfortunately, I only have 200m2 but currently everyone who visits is amazed at how green it is. It has grown densely and it will get even better, unfortunately, I still have other things to do on the house. Otherwise, I would test mowing twice a week. Actually, I should have mowed again today but had no time. It becomes denser, especially helpful during the growth phase

The use of biocides in the private garden I find comparable to cigar smoking in the nursery. That used to be common, but it is really no longer appropriate given the knowledge one can assume today.
