Our property is a former field and located in a rural area. The weeds, which were and still are persistent and abundant, can only be combated through diligent work, as the widespread roots underground, the rhizomes, must be removed. We are now in the third year of visible success. However, weeds that sow themselves always sprout again. I also think beyond myself to the environment, as far as possible, and together with my husband, I pull them out every two weeks. This goes relatively quickly. I cannot say which plant it is, but I recall that it was recently asked about in the garden forum. Brief regards

Not at all, no, no. We live in Pupsdorf surrounded on three sides by farmers.
2000m² of weeding. Then you know what you’ve done.
Okay, I haven’t finished everything yet, it doesn’t exactly give me nightmares either. Just a bit of weeds.

Thanks first of all. I had tried Banvel M so far. It worked at the spots so far but unfortunately it also damages the lawn extremely. I think I will try it with Glyphosate. We also pull it out by hand but it simply appears bundled in more and more places.

Glyphosate works quite well and reliably, and is probably not harmful to health if you believe the vast majority of studies. BUT attention: The use on terraces and balconies is prohibited.

Thank you. Terrace and balcony are not an issue. It is only about getting individual spots in the lawn under control.

I’m thrilled. Hey, take a leaf out of their book! I would also like to point out that those who treat their garden with poison not only kill and poison the weeds. The beneficial insects also get wiped out; they may then be eaten by, for example, small birds, which in turn become ill, and so on. Well, and all the waste ends up sooner or later in the groundwater.
