You can only cut down horsetail. So water the lawn, fertilize, mow, mow, preferably twice a week with a mulching mower or one of those robots or very old-fashioned reel mowers, then the horsetail will soon be drowned out by the grass and will retreat. It is similar with thistle and dandelion, only they are more persistent and sometimes require the Fiskars weed puller, a great invention.

and what do you do with horsetail in the bed? there is no mowing. digging out is sometimes really deeply tough. tearing off is completely useless and all chemical bombs do not work.

If it’s just individual plants, make yourself a tincture from Vorox, that’s glyphosate and also fights horsetail, or just as good the products from Neudorf or Roundup, and water, take a fine brush and paint the horsetail leaves. Then it dies, but only it. The rest around it simply keeps living. Otherwise only uprooting helps, sorry, I don’t have a magic trick for that. Karsten

We sowed on June 1st and now, 2 months later, it is green and thriving. But we only had just over 200m2 to water, the rest is our vegetable garden.

Since I assume that you sowed the 200 sqm with one lawn mixture and not two different ones, you can now clearly see different soil qualities in the picture. Where it is lighter and thinner, feel free to give it a few handfuls of fertilizer. [Blaukorn] for example. Be careful, not too much, and preferably just before rain.

Do you really see the coloration? Unfortunately, I have a strong red-green deficiency. The lawn has already been fertilized once.

What also surprises me is that it grows at very different speeds.

We spread a topsoil substrate; mixing was probably only done by the supplier and when distributing with the wheelbarrow.
