Hello,

I find the pantry an absolute waste of space in its current form. You have more storage with a tall corner kitchen cabinet and 2 tall 60cm cabinets using the same amount of space (or the chance for a different kitchen layout).

I also see the slant towards the shower toilet door as a waste of space. You have to try it out, but it would create more storage to plan a 2.00m Pax cabinet as a wardrobe and make the "angle" 90°.

If costs allow, maybe a double door to the west in the living room, or a southwest corner window?

I personally find it awful to look only into the room from the couch. For you, I would plan the L-sofa on the living room’s north wall and let the stove stand a bit out into the room, then put the TV on the west wall. That way, during coffee chats on the couch, the view can also drift into the garden...

We designed the bathroom a bit differently than in the „Mustergrundriss“. In such a small space, you have to build to save space...

Haha, good joke. Window bands and corner windows are rather based on appearance than on utility. Two windows stick out from the house because of their position - visually. With the windows, the appearance... uh, the function... with the roof the function... uhhhh, the appearance! This roof only brings trouble. Then the water doesn’t drain, runs into the bay window... about half a year ago or so, we had a desperate family here who has been regularly having the bay window renovated by the contractor over the years because the fault hasn’t been found. Now, after 5 years, the contractor/general contractor is disclaiming responsibility. The former builders, now occupants, are desperate because they don’t know how to proceed with the damage that regularly causes them a wet wall. I would change that—without considerations of taste. The few hooks for daily outerwear... ... one can hardly call that a coat rack. You probably have a room in the office that will simply be repurposed... or the family uses the dining chairs :P A coat rack should at least hold 2 jackets, 2 pairs of shoes, and one bag per family member... if you ask me, double that. The pantry takes up a lot of space. It is unnecessary if there is a basement. Instead of that, tighten up the kitchen a bit and have a large built-in cupboard installed in the kitchen/hall partition wall. That can be cleverly connected with the tall kitchen cabinets. And this also has nothing to do with taste.

You’re taking my statements out of context. I will not comment further on this and thank everyone else for the constructive criticism!

I also agree to make the kitchen 60cm narrower and instead put a large cupboard in the entrance hallway.

That does not matter if it were the case. Look at the core statements! If you don't feel like it, then don't ask a question in a forum. The draft has the mentioned flaws, whether you like it that way, want it, or deny it... it's your house...
