Yes, it’s blooming <3 However, there are still almost no bees, but it’s probably too cold for them right now.
The distance is about a good stride length, sometimes more, sometimes less. But I think that’s enough, since it’s intentionally planted staggered. I’m already looking forward to not having to see the parked car and the house anymore...

However, I’m allergic to picking. So of course the child is allowed to pull a dandelion now and then, but generally I prefer to teach her that she gets more out of it if it blooms in the garden, because it looks nice there much longer than in a vase, especially wildflowers don’t last well at all.
But generally I very, very rarely have a bouquet in the vase.

One more word about boring and monotonous:
I know there are birds in it, they were even in our rented house thuja.
I call them that because they are usually trimmed 2-3 times a year and thus can/are never allowed to bloom.
And I find it ugly when they still have the dried leaves on them until spring.
Otherwise, I am happy about anyone who chooses beech instead of thuja or cherry laurel.

Somehow it belongs. Picking flowers
The chamomile lasts about 1 week

Well, dandelions have to be picked in abundance: I love dandelion honey (actually - syrup)!

By the way, we have [Sandbienen] this year. Completely new, they have never been here before.

I generally find it a shame that somehow hardly anyone plants trees anymore and that in the construction areas in the public spaces nothing is planned for that anymore......the construction area in front of us still had space for parking lots and a tree every few meters, with us only street, so that everything is really used up

I hesitate a lot about the tree. The hedge has so far been mostly colorful, next to the leaf-sensitive neighbor with evergreen Bergilex, Port. cherry laurel, and privet. Perennials are also slowly coming along.

But a tree would have to go "right in the middle" and since this year we can use the garden as a real garden for the first time, I still can’t quite imagine where we would like it. And which one. My dream, a damson plum, does attract wasps quite a bit though. :-(

With trees, there are small ones. You don't have to take a half-stem. Then it might also be a bit off-center.
