Hello dear Ikea fans,

for a new kitchen, I bought the pull-out mixer tap Alsvik. Interestingly, it can no longer be found on the German site.
The description and the catalog say "Adjustable water pressure; presettable" and "Maximum water temperature presettable," but how? I can't find anything about this in the assembly instructions. Does anyone know more? The pressure is quite poor, and it's probably not due to the pipe; everything works as it should in the bathroom, too.

Thanks and regards,
Zoidberg

Take a look at the lever of the cartridge to see if there is an (Innensechskant?) screw there with which the water flow can be regulated.

Thank you for your tip, to get to it I would probably have to disassemble the lever? The assembly instructions also show a diagram at the beginning with the structure, where you can see where the cartridge is hidden, but how do I remove the handle? Raw force? In the picture it looks like the individual parts are just plugged together.

Most of the time, there is a set screw behind a cover cap on the fittings. Maybe one of the pins on the handle can also be unscrewed, or it is really just pushed on. Nayla probably knows more about that.

The thing with the pens could be true, one of them was a bit loose. I will take a closer look at it shortly, thank you.

In fact, a pin can be removed, behind it is the grub screw to remove the handle. On the lever of the cartridge there is a channel that presumably leads to the screw with which the water amount can be regulated. Unfortunately, I don’t have the appropriate Allen key and then it’s also Sunday...

Thanks again for the help, I will report tomorrow whether everything worked out (which I assume). Now I just wonder why Ikea doesn’t mention this in the assembly instructions.
