Minimal documents from the architect

I want to have the new construction of our house planned by the architect only up to the shell construction. Everything after that I will do on my own. I have already taken the floor plan and room layout from a catalog for solid houses. What minimum documents does he then have to create for me?

The ones you want. Construction drawings and building application are the minimum (that also includes things like drainage planning) – structural analysis is usually done by the structural engineer or your shell builder. Do you also want execution plans? If yes, for which trades? You would then have to commission those as well.

In this case (no draft expert considered necessary, no finishing trades to coordinate, no construction management) an architect would be casting pearls before swine. Award your shell construction to a general contractor including a rubber-stamper for the submission plans. If you are already saving at all the wrong ends, you should at least do that consistently ;-(
