um...sorry...I'm blonde. How is that supposed to work? I see 2 walls (masonry) in the plan, you have 3 glass walls and an open entrance? Help me out.... The room isn’t small with about 10 sqm, but in my opinion such a tub needs space, also visually. Therefore, I would absolutely treat myself to a great tub, but the freestanding version would not be my choice. Not only are the fittings outrageously expensive, I also find that there are quickly dirt corners if it’s not really free and airy in the room. As says, test lying is mandatory. My wife ultimately decided on something quite different than previously thought, namely a tub with an "ergonomically" shaped back. I found it funny but she likes it and she uses it too. Test lying...similar to shoes!!! What I don’t like as a non-bather about tubs is when they have a thin rim, even if that can look stylish. I’m more the type to rest my arm. I can totally understand that, but there are endless other ideas for a stylish tub solution; for me such a tub really would have to stand very free to have an effect.

Glass is also supposed to be on (in front of) the walls instead of, for example, tiles ... Yes, exactly those doubts I currently have regarding freestanding. Comfort is a must! The problem would be ordering tubs online? (currently rather bad with trying out in person - right?) I will lay out cardboard boxes directly in the room as templates in the coming days to get a better visual impression. I have plenty of old packaging material (company) here ;-)

Have the connections installed and wait until you can test the bathtub. It is simply too important that the thing is comfortable for you.
