So what now...? Practical or stylish? If so, I would stick with stylish and choose what I like.
We recently had an almost black tile covering and I am not a cleaning fanatic either. But I didn't have that problem. Gold and gray would not be my thing.

For the "stylish" (details), others are responsible. I prove almost daily that I can't do that. Also, due to a pronounced color blindness, I don't dare to choose the exact final color

yes, here also in favor of brown and against gray to gold. I am definitely really excited about the tub. Hopefully we will get photos of the real model when the time comes? :) I think it's cool! Zapp, if you can't kneel that well, then a cleaning help is the best choice. You have to clean/wipe tiles every once in a while. You don't have to do it yourself if you can't anymore.

I already mentioned a cleaning helper further above (every 2 weeks ...)
Of course, the final result will be presented here!

I would still plan the showerhead on the left wall, just with a surface-mounted installation. Just observe while showering how the water splashes. When you stand underneath, a lot goes to the right or left. You can place the faucet at the bottom of the plan all the way to the left corner and then put the showerhead with the rod on the left wall. Instead of, for example, like with me side by side: And if then the first meter of the partition to the tub is really drywall with tile, then your cleaning help can properly clean it every two weeks and the 50 cm panel towards the front will hardly get any water anyway. I think, especially if the panel would basically sit on an outside half-high wall, you always have to clean/wipe this ledge so that no water remains there. And besides, I also find it not visually appealing if the collection of shampoo, shower gel, etc. is there. You can see it from the outside and usually these are not color-coordinated bottles for the bathroom concept, but simply the varieties you like, etc.
