Of course, we also have the plan for the ground floor. However, we changed the entrance area yesterday, so it is not up to date. As soon as the new version is available, I will provide the ground floor.

Don't you have anyone who designs the house for you and takes your wishes into account? I don’t see it as rigidly as in that construction "expert" forum, but if you yourself realize that drawing by yourself doesn't work, then I would hire someone who knows what they're doing.

We went to a construction company in our region with our ideas. The initial floor plan appealed to us, but we wanted the children's rooms larger (originally 11m² – that was too small for us) and an entrance hall or vestibule on the ground floor. The first draft for the upper floor from the construction company is as posted here in this thread. We don't have an architect.

But that's precisely the point Sebastian79 is making, and you can also see it in the floor plans. A lot is "possible," but that doesn't mean it's "good." Especially when I have special ideas, I need someone who can incorporate them sensibly.

On the one hand: upper floor drafts are heavily dependent on the kneewall. How is it here or how is the L-shape solved? Higher kneewall in the west? On the other hand: I generally like the room layout, but I would remove the door from the bedroom/bathroom, place the bedroom door further towards the top of the plan, and remove the wall to the dressing room so that you can already start a row of wardrobes just behind the door. By the way, we have a dressing room of 6 point something square meters with a kneewall of 1.25 meters, and it works wonderfully for two people. Besides shelves and dressers, there is a stool, a chair, and a floor-length mirror. So don’t generalize all the time :)

So, we are currently with a construction company and not an architect. We can gladly continue discussions pro/con construction company/architect here .
