Hello house builders,
we have made another step forward. Our floor plan has been designed, and an initial conversation with the construction company took place.
We now have the old floor plan (B) from the neighbor (semi-detached house), which we could take over, or a new one. The new one (A) has been revised with change requests from us.
A was our change. B is the neighbor’s half. Our change came about because we were tempted by a half-landing staircase and wanted a small storage room for the vacuum cleaner and beverage crates. In addition, a glass door was added at the end of the hallway (draft). Unfortunately, in this version, the guest WC became unnecessarily larger.
Now we are doubting...
My father suggested keeping the half-landing staircase but moving the hallway to the right (staircase stays, wardrobe gets smaller) and instead installing a slanted glass door at the end of the hallway. I hope you can follow me.
I am also always open to other criticism or tips. After all, you only build once. Once built, it is built.

[*]Is the kitchen too small in the new plan with 281 m width on the window side?
[*]Is it better to forgo the extra feature of the half-landing staircase to have a larger kitchen or generally larger living space? Living area old: 63.35 sqm, new: 53.44 sqm.
