Hello everyone,

I am currently in the final stages of planning my kitchen for my new build. Since I unfortunately don't have much space, I am looking for a built-in refrigerator with an ice cube function with a width of 60 - max 70. In terms of depth, it should not be deeper than standard, so 60 deep. Whether the device has a freezer compartment or not is irrelevant, as I have another freezer.

I know that such a device doesn't really exist. But maybe someone knows more, I haven't found anything.

I would be very grateful for tips on devices.

Best regards
Flo

I can still ask what you mean by that. Because there is also the function of the internal plastic drawer with a rotary function. If you mean the external automatic feature in the door, then you are probably right that it does not exist. The automatic feature and the water container probably extend too far into the depth of the door to still call it a (built-in) refrigerator ;)

I don't know such a thing either, can you show me an example??? For me, direct access to ice cubes is not so important, what matters is that there are always some available.

That there are always some depends on whether you always diligently pour water into whatever.
We have this one, it was included with our Samsung and now with Haier (we only need ice now and then and are not cold drinkers)

But that is exactly what I don't need. It's not about storage, I have enough space. I need a unit in the refrigerator that constantly produces ice cubes.

maybe it is an option for you to have the ice cube maker in the freezer? At least there was once a Siemens iQ700 series built-in freezer with an integrated ice cube maker. "Ice" also fits better energy-wise there ;)
