I am quite sure I have read the word "Festwasseranschluss" in the description of the built-in version (which the OP wants). Manual refilling should neither be possible nor necessary there. The price of 2.5K is pretty steep, but they probably don’t make huge quantities of them.

Personally, I have only had the very best experience with Liebherr (a freezer with 8 drawers), it keeps going and going, cools like hell, and simply doesn’t break down. Thanks to thick insulation from almost 20 years ago, it’s even acceptably economical. Now, with a move, it was sold for a hundred due to lack of space and is still running somewhere else, going on and on.

In some video, however, I also saw a local water tank. On Monday, I will go to my local cold goods seller and ask what he says about it.

So, the topic is a bit older but not forgotten yet. Today I talked with an acquaintance and since I want to have an additional freezer / chest freezer, she suggested whether I wouldn't just look for a pure dishwasher with ice cube function. That completely revives the topic, do you have a recommendation for me here, I am also not bound to 60 cm width.
