Lockable windows / escape route

Does it make bypassing it more difficult? Because if I smash the window, I just need to reach in and press the button.

That was good. Most roller shutters offer no protection at all. Many older ones can be slashed with a box cutter. Or simply pried out of the guides. If not really taken into account when buying, it is not a real obstacle.

But I can hardly imagine that the lockable handle would help. Probably good fittings plus dowels and good roller shutters that cannot be pushed up will help more.

Any ordinary roller shutter is off in 5 seconds... the only advantage is that it makes noise...
