I have also installed them everywhere above as [Ausbruchsschutz] for the little ones. All the keys are on the door and thus always within reach.

I would like to see the person who, when there is imminent danger, still thinks to reach for keys for a long time.

Are locks with push buttons actually not an option, for a window?

In my opinion, they do not help against break-ins or escapes. You might as well use a normal handle. We also get lockable ones everywhere. Nobody has told me anything about escape routes. I also don’t know whose responsibility that is.

The building authority usually does not grant approval issued by the architect without a second emergency exit.

Yes, they do. I have been professionally in several buildings where the burglary failed because of pressure knobs/lockable ones.
