Behind my house, there is about a 3-week delay in spring anyway, since we have area collectors. I have to wait even longer there anyway. But it works quite well when scarifying, because scarifying is only done in the free spots at first, and when the compost and organic waste have "eaten" the grass, then the next batch comes. It’s always amazing how much comes out of it.

Give him some iron in spring, then you don't always need to scarify.

This is snow mold. It does not attack the root. So not serious. Fertilize as soon as the [Grünlandtemperatursumme 150c] is reached. Please do not scarify. The lawn is already stressed. Actually, you don’t even have to scarify. Aerate rather, but not immediately either. Sun, water, fertilizer, and regular mowing and you will have a beautiful lawn.

so in my opinion a lot is being said here that doesn’t fit. Aerating is actually needed very rarely, you should now ventilate. I have already fertilized, the frost doesn’t affect the fertilizer and the grassland temperature is suitable almost everywhere. The lawn needs nutrients to get going.

There are some areas where the grassland temperature sum is still below 90°. Hopefully, it will improve soon so I can start. From Thursday, it will be bitterly cold here again. In warmer regions, I have already applied fertilizer. ;)

We have frost again every night. Snow is supposed to come again as well.
