Laminate on old tiles

Hello, I could imagine that there is a loss of heat when laminate is on top of the tiles. Because you also have to put insulation underneath because of the sound and that could lead to the heat from the tiles not transferring properly into the laminate anymore. I would rather lay a carpet because it is not as thick!

In any case, remove the tiles here. This may be tedious, but the effort is worth it. The impact sound insulation can then be much lower.

Of course you can lay the laminate over the tiles. But that scores few points. The tiles should be removed and then you can lay the laminate. I would also do without the impact sound insulation.
