Hello Musketeer,
I’m just imagining my granddaughter flooding the bathroom because she wants to play fish. Laminate is and remains resin-impregnated paper – if it is to be made even half water-resistant, in my view a considerable industrial effort is required. The accompanying costs then justify, in my opinion, the use of industrial laminate; looks very good, by the way. But then the original poster is again facing costs that are many times higher than those of tiles ;)
Rhenish regards
Apparently there is special laminate for the bathroom. I just happened to find this:
Laminate is also suitable for the bathroom
