For next year, the construction of our carport is planned, which will gradually become a garage. So, partially closed side walls, etc. The carport will be built at the spot where the outdoor air intake and exhaust air outlet are currently located. I am now wondering what needs to be considered?
Exhaust air outlet:
Definitely do not blow the warm exhaust air from the house into the carport, because the warm air could condense there? I could still easily vent it over the roof of the later carport.
Outdoor air intake:
I could extend it about 5-6 m under the roof of the later carport and insulate it so that the outdoor air is somewhat warmer in winter when entering the house or the heat recovery of the controlled residential ventilation system receives it (especially once the carport finally becomes a fully enclosed garage).
Or is it all nonsense because too much effort for little benefit? Then I would simply route the outdoor air and exhaust air over the roof of the later carport and vent it outside.
