Yep, I suspect the same.

That's why I think our planner has to change the floor plan from scratch here, or make the house bigger.

Yeah, no idea... the window at the seating area is really bad, and we didn’t imagine it like that either :d

Also, we wanted a small table with 2 chairs, not some bar stool stuff.

Yes, I also think a wider sliding door is possible if the cabinet is gone.

No idea how it will look then...

But what is easy to clarify is how many of the cabinets you have in mind there do you actually need? A modern and airier look would be a two-line layout. Then, for example, only regular cabinets on the left wall and the sink there, possibly with a "light strip" or a long window (if the view fits). The current "sink window" depending on the orientation either floor-to-ceiling or as a side door. On the right wall then the cooktop etc. (dishwasher then moved to the left), so now the question is how many tall cabinets do you need? For example, I wouldn’t give up a built-in oven. Then possibly a pantry cabinet. And the rest with wall cabinets, what can also look good is the variant with tall cabinets completely on the left and right and in between regular cabinets and wall cabinets to build a cooking niche. If necessary, in the corner to the living/dining area, two tall cabinets.

In short and concise: on the left completely base cabinets and on the right a cooking niche built from tall cabinets (2-3) and base cabinets with wall cabinets. I would rather do without the seating area!

...Well, if you are such a fan of 3d perspectives, then just change the plan. You say you don't like this and that... then just do it differently.

The kitchen is very important to me as well, that’s why I’m so upset about it.

The planner definitely has to get more out of this here..

Mhm, but if the house is 1m wider, I certainly have more space here to arrange the cabinets, tables, possibly better.

I do like the L or U-shape already, what bothers me is the cramped space, which I might be able to improve through enlarging the house.
