Is two meters wide enough for a lift-and-slide door?

I don't think you need to focus on the urgent need in this case, but rather keep things in perspective overall. Because you can also store something in the cabinet here that you don't want or need to access 10 times within an hour, especially if the terrace door happens to be open. These coincidences don’t happen all year round. I actually wouldn’t put a refrigerator there. Here I think a sliding door makes more sense. I would do without the 50 cm wall and take the further wall as load-bearing. I would see the distance to the kitchen counter at about one/1.10 meters for this island length.

Full agreement ... this 50 cm wall is more than annoying and requires a much too large distance to the tall cabinet wall so that there is still a proper passage. Because as currently drawn, there are just about 50 cm.
