Hey,
So I'm currently working on the house connection myself, gathering information.
I would additionally charge 6k for the earthworks.

I don't know if this applies universally, but since we are also building with existing structures: Check if you have to pay for the disconnection of the connections before the demolition (in our case about EUR 2,700 for 4 utilities), and then later for the new connection (in our case approximately EUR 6,000 for 5 utilities).

Honestly, I didn't include the former in my original planning.

so expensive? Then you plan badly. If the old house connections are only decommissioned and then used again, it must be less. MUST. But if you have new A. installed because your house connection room is located somewhere else in the countryside... your own fault.

I would be interested to know how this could have been solved differently. Water and electricity must be separated and raised for construction power and water. And gas must be separated at the main line. Telecom was negligible in terms of cost. For all four, our city has fixed prices for the execution.

That has nothing to do with whether the HAR is located elsewhere, but regardless, I would not base my house planning on the position of existing lines, even if it would save a little.

Earthworks is one of the items that you (and others) cannot properly estimate. Not even after a soil analysis or a geotechnical report.

It depends on what is dug out (quantity and quality of the excavated material) and how much has to be disposed of (disposal costs).

You usually only find out the quantity and disposal costs with the subsequent invoice presented to you.

Earthworks can really push you into additional financing (topic of sheet piling and excavation pit securing).

I know construction projects without a basement that had to spend 15k€ on earthworks, on the other hand, I am building with a basement and only paid 4200€ myself because I backfilled most of it, even though it was unsuitable. For that, I have to live with waiting 2 years until everything settles.
