Is there an additional charge for exterior plaster with a broom stroke texture?

I hope I am in the right subforum here, if not please move it.

During yesterday's conversation with my potential plasterer, he advised against the broom finish plaster because it is said to get dirty very quickly.
I must note that I live in a very quiet area (few cars) and there are not many trees nearby.
The plaster color is supposed to be a gray/ochre, so not a dirt-prone white.

Now I have the offer and he wants a surcharge of €11.36 (+VAT) per m² for the broom finish.
This seems quite high to me.
Can someone estimate whether this is realistic or just a price to finally discourage me?

Yes, there is a risk that the facade may become "dirty" faster (but that is relative). This is because of course you have a lot of horizontal grooves where dust can accumulate (but does not have to). And that will rot sooner than on smoother facades. However, I would not be deterred by that.

Regarding the price: Yes, a substantial surcharge is justified because it is actually a very rare type of plaster. Virtually handcrafted work - also looking very different depending on the craftsman and brush. It is not easy to achieve such a surface. I also wanted to have such a surface, but had to decide against it because I applied the plaster myself. And for me, who can apply "normal" rendered plaster or felted plaster, the technique was too difficult. It would be worth the surcharge to me, without knowing the usual surcharge in the industry for it.

The whole house in broom finish? That looks absolutely forbidden. Here, 2 or 3 houses have that, but always only as an accent.

Not the whole house, only the "middle" part, the rest (top and bottom) will hopefully be made of rhombus slats. I want to visually reduce the height of the house here and make it a bit more modern. But I am open to suggestions :)

North:

East

South (the rhombus slats are missing in the gable here)

West (the X marks the boundary development; only regular plaster here)

Typical plaster from the Gründerzeit/Art Nouveau period. Back then, completely normal. It doesn't look forbidden, just unusual because it is now very rarely seen. And in terms of application, there is a range. Fine to coarse. Accent to entire house. Horizontal or vertical (@TE: with vertical there are no dirt problems either, but it is even more difficult to apply).

I would now consider the price reasonable. It can’t be that much space anyway? It definitely looks very stylish! Not always the same ordinary houses. If we ever have new plastering done, I also want a special plaster and not just plain again (we have an old building with ordinary plaster from 1993).
