That wouldn't work for us. Neighbor or not. You exceed the 9 meters, and that would not be allowed. Yes, where there's no plaintiff, there's no judge, but keep in mind: the authorities also use Google Maps and have trained eyes.

In my opinion, the situation can be interpreted in two ways:
- Roof belongs to the house: A 4.5m canopy is definitely no longer subordinate and therefore probably no longer privileged regarding the distances. Ergo not permissible
- Roof belongs to the garage: Roof is also no longer subordinate and therefore added to the length of the garage or alternatively considered as an independent structure. At the latest when a supporting post is placed. This exceeds the 9m
