In development plans for privileged buildings (such as garages, equipment sheds), a maximum of 9m boundary construction on one boundary and up to a maximum of 15m in total is usual. This would also include a carport.
I would rather not hijack the thread with my own question, but since the topic is already resolved for the OP, I’ll take the liberty :)
We have a 7.5m long garage on the neighbor’s boundary, which starts directly next to the entrance area.
Now we would like to generously cover the entrance area, and thus the entire space in front of the garage (garage width), with glass, preferably with a depth of 2-2.5m.
A smaller depth of 1.5m would not provide enough coverage for the area in front of the door and would only be slightly cheaper than the 2.5m depth.
Would one have to assume that the 9m boundary construction rule would be exceeded in this case or are there possibly exceptions for such a case?
