Is insulation useful with Poroton bricks?

I just went down to the basement (with full thermal insulation). It was really dead silent there. Up here (still without full thermal insulation) you can hear the relaxed breathing of the house. Unfortunately, it sometimes snores. That is also the reason why I am putting insulation on. I can't sleep if someone breathes loudly or snores. *Irony off*

Is the shell actually already built?

Since the OP also mentioned soundproofing in the conversation with the architect, I would like to throw the following recommendation into the ring: Do not "dip" the Poroton bricks, but level them off with a sled.

So actually, there is nothing better than Poroton, if you consider a few things.

A bit problematic is the draft between the holes, if air comes in there. That can sometimes cause a draft at sockets. But you can counteract that by partially filling the air channels with some construction foam.

Otherwise, you can realize the exterior walls with insulating plaster. That makes a big difference. And by the way, I wouldn't know why you should insulate 40 cm wall thickness in the end? That does more harm than good.

The Poro TON is a natural building material with the best properties. Air is the best thermal insulation.

My wall construction from inside to outside is:
Gypsum board 12.5 mm
OSB 12mm joints airtight sealed
PE foil airtight sealed
OSB 18mm joints airtight sealed
Wood stud frame 180mm with mineral wool WLG035
24 mm spruce boards nailed diagonally
Underlay membrane
60mm battens vertical with glass wool WLG035
60mm battens horizontal with glass wool WLG035
Doerken special membrane for ventilated facades
30mm battens vertical as ventilation layer
Blue-black fiber cement boards in size 60x30

With this wall construction I have perfect soundproofing and very good insulation properties plus great summer heat protection.

This, of course, only works with controlled residential ventilation. Such a simple brick building is too expensive for me in the long run.

And the construction has absolutely nothing to do with the problem posed here. By the way, my Rolls Royce is also perfectly insulated! I almost think its wall construction is better than your drafty plank shack.

And of course it also works without controlled residential ventilation... there are significantly more methods that can handle this sufficiently well :)

Oh dear. Do you have to get offensive immediately? My "shack" compares to a 36 cm Poroton 08/15 house without thermal insulation and controlled residential ventilation like a Formula 1 car to a duck.
I am always appalled at how backward construction still is nowadays.
All the information is available, and yet today many people still build houses that are not significantly different from those of our parents. Well, everyone has to know for themselves what they do.
