It's really unbelievable with what persistence the guy keeps coming back, keeps pulling the same crap, and keeps getting knocked down.

Yeah, but somewhere the forum is really poorly managed. You can't blame everything on one person. It's really pathetic when a moderator throws out a comment like "I'm not a kindergarten supervisor" after weeks. There are even trainings for proper forum moderation. It would really be appropriate to give moderators time off for that.

It's all free and the moderators are private individuals.

The moderation of a thread must be done by the thread creator themselves. Asking a question once and then waiting is not enough. If people were to respond, everyone would be back on track.
