Is financing for house purchase / house construction feasible?

Regarding the question - how long should one save - until it makes sense and the risk ratio fits. I have also heard that you can rent houses. But unfortunately, that makes the landlord filthy rich and you pay for his Porsche 4 times, and then at some point, you move and pay for the next Porsche!!!!!!!!!!! Oops, the realtor in me just came out...sorry.

That's right. Whether 120 sqm or 150 sqm. The costs for the basic equipment of electrical, sanitary, and technical installations are incurred anyway. If you expand the 120 sqm floor plan to 150 sqm to give the living areas a few more square meters, the additional costs remain relatively limited.

Land prices and construction costs are currently rising faster than one can usually save. Surely everyone has set aside the incidental costs if they want to build. So what should one wait for and "save" if the personal life circumstances are right?

What is your pointless post supposed to tell me? If I have the incidental costs and can manage an affordable installment, I can build ... yes. and now? .... silence......

If you look at some of the inquiries in the forums, you will find that this is not the case. I would say at least 10% of the inquiries look like this:
There is 10K of equity available. The car loan is still running. A new kitchen is also supposed to be included, and preferably a 150m² house with a basement, brick garage. And then the big question, can I afford that?

In the initial case, 30K€ is available, where surely some furniture and the kitchen still have to be paid for. That doesn’t leave much for purchase and construction costs.
