I can’t take any more nonsense in the evening.

For us, it’s on 3 times a week. Nice. Very cozy. It’s not too warm either, if you have an open gable. In a pinch, there’s a window to open.

I can generalize too:

Ethanol is not comparable. A child makes more dirt than the stove.

The question about sense: Does vacation make sense? Do tiles that cost more than 10€ make sense? Does an open gable make sense?

"even more nonsense" ? Sorry that you had to read so much crap today already :-D I like fireplaces, that much is certain. I think they're great when I'm freezing cold, I like to watch the fire, I like the crackling sound, ... I'm sure I can find even more positive things. But I don't have a cleaning lady - and eventually it just has to be done. I'm also against every private person polluting the air with even more CO2 (and depending on what else you throw into the stove). And I don't build a tightly sealed/well insulated house with a ventilation system just to ruin it all with a fireplace. All three of us are cold sleepers, so we'll have to adjust a lot anyway, I already noticed that when we stayed over at my brother-in-law's. Then a fireplace that heats everything up properly even with one log? Opening a window depends on the weather and isn't always an option - and do I want that? Conclusion: for me, there are more arguments against than in favor. And maybe the woman from Puma simply hasn’t thought much further than: fireplace = fire = wildly romantic I didn’t want to say more nonsense. Thanks ;)

I have Kfw 40 and a wood stove, really great, I would do it again anytime. I get a lot of construction wood from the neighborhood. My advice is don't give it up

Those who don’t have a fireplace are often frustrated and somewhat jealous

I don't care about CO2, that's why I drive a car with 450hp and have fun
