"even more nonsense" ? Sorry that you had to read so much rubbish today :-D
I like fireplaces, just so you know. I think they’re great when I’m freezing, I like watching the fire, I like the crackling sound, ... I’m sure I could find more positive things. Only, I don’t have and am not a cleaning lady – and sooner or later it just has to be done. I’m also against every private person polluting the air with even more CO2 (and depending on what else you throw into the stove). And I don’t build a tightly sealed/well insulated house with a ventilation system just to ruin it all with a fireplace. We are all three cold sleepers, so we will have to adjust a lot anyway, I already noticed when we stayed overnight at my brother-in-law’s once. Then a fireplace, which really heats everything up with just one log? Opening windows isn’t always possible depending on the weather – and do I want that?
Conclusion: for me, there are more reasons against than for. And maybe the lady from Puma just hasn’t thought further than: fireplace = fire = wild romantic
I didn’t want to say “even more nonsense”. Thanks ;)
First gain experience living in a new build yourself, then we’ll talk further. Our controlled residential ventilation works, our bedroom isn’t too warm, and the kids still make more mess than that thing. Always these aggressive bar counter slogans! And then please no factual report if you haven’t made the experience yourself.
I don’t have to respond to any further premature "arguments" now. OP has enough to read [emoji23] If he likes, he can ask.
