We have controlled residential ventilation, Bora with exhaust AND a fireplace (I think 7kw) in the living room (65sqm). Secured via LUC2. At around 0 degrees outside temperature, it is on almost daily. Very very pleasant... no dirt and everything great! We would not have expected that at all. The expectation was: The thing would only be on on weekends during the deepest winter. I really rarely even remove ash because a lot burns up... At 330..350 degrees the glass remains nice and clean (glass cleaning)..

No... using a pressure switch LUC2 (just google it). With the window contact, you would always have to open the window. That would be pretty silly ;)

We think so too. Only our chimney sweep said that the pressure switch reports directly as soon as the exhaust hood is on. Although, to be honest, I didn’t question what he meant by reports. The pressure switch simply switches off the ventilation system in case of danger, and that’s it, right?

The switch turns off the exhaust WHEN the chimney is ON AND there is negative pressure..
