Pah....We love beech!! Furniture is solid core beech wood, floor is light neutral maple parquet, and doors are white... Everything just works with that
Solid wood furniture made of oiled beech looks better than those orange beech doors. I also don’t like it when too many types of wood are mixed; it just doesn’t look harmonious in the end.

You are right, Sabine. Unfortunately, I can always tell immediately whether it is real wood or just wants to be wood. And because we don’t like wannabe wood and the real wood doors were too expensive for us, it stayed neutral white. We are very glad about that.

that is exactly how we would decide as well. We also find the "trend" towards wood look (tiles and vinyl are made in wood look) simply terrifying.
We too will choose neutral white room doors. But what about HPL, CPL, lacquer? What makes sense? We have a small daughter.

HPL or CPL are suitable for Bobycar. HPL coated doors are a bit more robust.

Real wooden doors were too old-fashioned for us in terms of style. Doors with wood decor often look a bit cheap, especially lighter wood tones..
We therefore have the doors in white (in CPL, we currently have painted doors in the rental apartment, which don't hold up at all..), we like it very much in combination with parquet, tinted walls and white baseboards. Attached are two pictures, with and without glass insert.
Nice floor, what kind is it?
