It looks more harmonious when the door frame and the baseboards have the same color.
You can also individually design your doors with different shapes.
The frame, for example, is often taken square; have a look at bombé or profiled frames. Pay attention to the depth of the baseboard so that it does not later protrude at the frame.
The surface of the door leaf, favorably with decorative foil, or robust as CPL. Elegantly painted or solid wood or veneer. Modern with horizontal stripes or timeless in country house style.
Pay attention to the interior. Light and inexpensive with honeycomb core, or rather heavy and stable with chipboard insert.
Edges square, or rounded.
For glass doors, standard green glass or rather white glass.
Door handles modern and square, or practical and round, also because of stops on the wall.
With rings on the fingers, rather matte than shiny.
Door handles inexpensive hollow, or solid with hold-open spring. Long escutcheon or rosette, WC or possibly cylinder lock. Possibly with a knob instead of a handle, e.g. at the access from the garage.
