A friendly hello to the forum. So, a construction defect with us as well? Single-family house with a bay window 4 x 1.3 m. The house has a basement, but the bay window does not. The living room and bay window are connected by a concrete slab. During the construction phase, the bay window protruded over the workspace and collapsed. Now, drainage has been installed under the bay window directly at the house wall. The bay window, like the basement, received perimeter insulation of 13 cm, and only sand was placed under the bay window slab. A frost protection strip is now no longer planned, citing the insulation. Are damages not pre-programmed there?
