LOL. That already costs the fireplace insert with a finished built-in fireplace. We paid that 5/6 years ago.
Exactly. Then the entire floor must be removed. I assume that a) you are not allowed to place the fireplace on wood and b) it won’t hold statically with an insert weighing 250-300 kg and the resulting point load (it only stands on four small feet).
That will also be expensive.
I assume that with such a new (and airtight) house, the chimney sweep will prefer an airtight fireplace (I even think, for example, considering my chimney sweep, that you will definitely need an airtight fireplace). So with fresh air supply from outside the house – that will be demanding and expensive. Otherwise, every time you want to light the fireplace, you have to open a window (maybe you also need a window contact connected to the fireplace). If you have an exhaust hood installed, this will be mandatory. So that the exhaust hood does not work when the fireplace is on and no window is open.
Also remember that there are clearance and height regulations that must be observed for the chimney.
We also have an air-dependent fireplace in our new kfw55 house. That works if there is no exhaust hood and the room is large enough.
And our fireplace also stands on parquet, there is only a glass plate in between. Available at the hardware store.
The first step should always be to contact the chimney sweep. Let him come, he will take a look and decide what you are allowed to do and what not.
