Installation problem of Bauknecht dishwasher in Ikea Metod kitchen

Hello Ikea friends,

I am currently assembling my Ikea kitchen.... Unfortunately, I’ve encountered a problem while installing the dishwasher. After attaching the front to the dishwasher, I can only open it about 30 degrees before the front hits the bottom edge of the dishwasher... Of course, you could shorten the front at the bottom, but then it would no longer be flush with the rest of the kitchen....

Has anyone ever installed a Bauknecht dishwasher into an Ikea Metod and if so, how did you solve the problem with the front? By the way, the model is Bauknecht GSX 81414.

Thanks for the hint. As I can see, this has already been discussed extensively... Is there a solution for how to attach the glide hinge set to Bauknecht dishwashers?

No one has written anything about this yet. Unfortunately, Whirlpool does not provide assembly instructions online. Take a look at the assembly instructions for Behjälplig. With this, you should be able to determine whether it can be easily attached to your dishwasher.

I got the mounting set at IKEA today and immediately held it up... I feel like the entire assembly will lean too far forward and thus no flush surface with the other cabinets will be created.

Does anyone have a picture of the finished assembly for the front?
