Is this "gar nicht" actually intentional in the otherwise quite eloquent expression? :)
So everyone fiddles with their own language. A "gar nicht" makes no sense at all – just as "Sinn machen" keinstenfalls is a meaningful phrase. Niemals nicht will I ever be bothered by the variety of negation intensifications. These, although bar jeder content, do testify to the determination (or origin...) of the message-giver and are therefore mitnichten dispensable. "zu schwach absolut" – wonderful."gar nicht" is simply an emphasis or intensification, or in some cases also a reassurance of the plain "nicht", where the latter seems absolutely too weak to me
Me too, but it competes coherently like with Schrödinger :)I really don’t want to decide. I’m impressed by both.
"Niemals" without a following "nicht" is, in the Bavarian languages, like leaving out the "pas" after the "ne" in French – it’s not complete that way. "Niemals nicht" is not a double negation; it only becomes one when inserting the "nie". In the Rhineland dialect, we also have the gradation "meist - allermeist - allermeist überhaupt". But thanks for the discussion – it made me aware again of how often I say just "gar nicht" instead of "ganz und gar nicht" ;-)Everyone tinkers with their language. These are indeed bar jeder substantive meaningfulness, but they testify to the decisiveness (or origin...) of the message-giver and are therefore mitnichten dispensable. "zu schwach absolut" – wonderful.

Or are you a German teacher and bothered that I belong to the compound word group with "gar nicht"?

I know we are very slow and maybe approached the matter somewhat over-analytically, but I think that especially in the conversations with other builders we were able to gather valuable insights that will help us in the long run.
