In your opinion, do city villas look like villas?

Unfortunately not. My house—architect was Kurt Frick—is still standing sadly and unrenovated in the landscape. Thanks to a long-running dispute over a 100-year repurchase right.
But it is also "only" an end terraced house.

I am allowed to live in my wife's Anstatt villa, although despite >200m2 we have never called the house a villa. It's not so much the house area that is lacking, but more a park-like 5000m2 plot with a curved driveway and duck pond.

When will you show what you actually want to build, and on which plot?

Exactly, a real villa also includes a Phantom VI with a chauffeur and other staff.

a chef... definitely a chef! I would take him with a kiss on the hand even without a villa

I find "old-fashioned" perfectly fine (many would probably describe shutters that way too, even though I appreciate them), but you really have to like terraced houses. For me, terraced houses are horizontally built condominiums.

As soon as we have decided on a house, I will gladly show pictures here. I have already described the house further above. At the moment, there is a struggle between the laws of physics and our financial means. From my point of view, it is still open whether physics has to yield to our financial possibilities or vice versa.
The plot is in the Neuseenland. Although I was born in the West and have never lived in the eastern region, there is little in my life I have looked forward to as much as moving there.

What is referred to today as a "Stadtvilla" has nothing to do with a villa in the proper sense. It mostly concerns square floor plans that entice with low price per square meter and waste space inside, where the external symmetry hinders the interior layout and they are placed on small plots in a contemporary manner. It has little to do with a villa that is not built/cost-optimized but rather represents a status statement for its residents.
