Hello,
I am planning to install a 3.4m large sliding door to the terrace as part of a renovation. Since I am at least a "fresh air fanatic" in the summer, it will be open a lot. The plan is probably a [Raffstore] (I am still a bit undecided between a [Rollladen] or [Raffstore]).
Now I am wondering how to implement the insect protection. Are there also boxes with [Raffstore] that include a mesh? Is that even sensible, since you can only operate it from the inside then? Also, you have to raise it almost completely to step through the door.
I think I have also once seen mesh installed on the side somewhere. Is that more practical and does it work well, or does the operation get stuck? I would like a solution that is not visible when you do not need it. I don't like a "door" that you slide to the side and thus always stands in front of the fixed element of the sliding door.
Has anyone solved something like this here and can give me some tips?
