Ok, then I understood you correctly. As I said, I'm only concerned about opening because of exiting, not for ventilation or anything else. In that respect, a division – whether a hinged door or fixed at the bottom – wouldn't help much. But the venetian blind would only slam against it with the window open. But the window is only open if I want to go out, where the venetian blind has to be open anyway. So in that respect... But I probably won't do it anyway. It was just a quick idea.

Yes - your thinking is wrong: the venetian blind would remain manual for life (or would need an auto-stop like a garage door opener). We are talking about maybe 4 cm between the window and the venetian blind, which is ridiculous even for tilt ventilation if the venetian blind is not fully retracted. Forget about an outside opening with venetian blinds.

But engines have auto stop when there is an obstacle anyway, right? Otherwise, it would already be dangerous with normally opening windows?

Hi,
I find that quite interesting.
Raffstore up/down, move the furniture...
... just to quickly step out, for that I have a toilet. :p.
This isn’t your only window, is it?
Cheers, Olli

Haha.
It’s not the only one, right. Feel free to replace my "Austreten" with "Hinausgehen". Menno.
I am just a lazy person. Saving steps is fun for me. Also, my wife could then water her plants from outside without having to move the sofa.

Because it's cool if you can. The Swedes and Finns surely envy us with the German window standard. Is he moving in? The option you build applies to patio doors, free from furniture, and the time when you get another sofa or rearrange the furniture. Too lazy now to untangle your knot in your head?
