Ikea Metod extendable base cabinet wrong instructions online

That is really outrageous ..

again one of those things where you have to drill the holes yourself using a sheet. In itself not so bad, if it weren't for the fact that

1. No sheet was included with Utrusta and
2. The sheet available for download is the wrong one !!!

No chance to assemble this little cabinet ...

A drilling template should have been included. Did you drill the holes using the template available online and it doesn’t fit, or do you assume that it’s not the correct one because the template shows a different number than the one in the instructions? If it’s the latter, you should mark the measurements on the template onto the front, completely insert the drawer, hold the front in place, and see if it might actually be the correct template and just the number in the instructions is wrong.

I drilled the dimensions of the online template and then noticed that it doesn't fit even remotely, after that I saw that the number is also incorrect. For another cabinet, there was also no template included, but the online measurements were correct there.

That is annoying. In the instructions, the distances between the holes on the template actually look different - first a large distance and then a smaller one. Call Ikea tomorrow and have them email you the correct template.

I just tricked ...
first mounted the brackets to the rails and then measured inside the installed cabinet where the holes ultimately are. There were a few misplaced drillings but otherwise it fits.
The kitchen is now almost finished. Ultimately, there are 2 things that just left me puzzled:
1. Worktop exactly 2 cm too short (corner cabinet, cabinet, cabinet -> 248), so you only have the choice to use ugly wide finishing strips, although I would have preferred to just use silicone, or to cut the board again over such a short distance (because of 2 cm ...)
2. Front at end cabinets (see other thread), I will go to Ikea tomorrow to take a look in person, maybe they can also remove a front there ...
